  1. I love these! I’d add reading a just-for-fun book, too – I used to read multiple novels a week as a kid, but when you grow up and life gets busier it just doesn’t happen anymore. It definitely feels like self care when I make the time, and I find that the more I read, the more creative I am!

  2. These are all such great ideas! I have felt so burned out lately and with all the changes with Covid, it hasn’t helped… some things are less busy now, but other things are even busier! A day to myself sounds so wonderful or even a daily tea time. I’ve been wanting to get back into Yoga, too. I need to pick one or two of these. 🙂

  6. These are all great self care tips! I absolutely love #2 – learning to say no. This was such a hurdle for me before I became a mama. I wanted to be everybody’s best friend but it was a game changer when I finally stood up for myself. Working out has also helped give me more energy and be just a better person all around. I don’t know where I would be if I never came across fitness! I hope your week is going great so far and I know it’s a few days early but wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas!

  8. These are all great tips! I love the idea of writing down accomplishments – big and small. It helps us visualize what we did. One of my goals for 2021 is to become more strategic about planning my days – and writing things down is one of them. Have a wonderful day!

    1. So glad you enjoyed these tips, Lisa! We often don’t give ourselves much credit, and writing things down is a great way to acknowledge all that we do in a day:) I love the idea of being more strategic about planning your day. That’s something I need to work on too, thanks for sharing.

  9. These are all such great ideas! All the best sweetheart 😍😍

  10. All of these self-care ideas are wonderful! I am a big fan of getting up bright and early and drinking a cup of coffee, and planning my day. Also, I like to really set intentions for not just today, but keep in mind other goals that I want to achieve in the near future, and things like that.

Your two points in the beginning are SO important. It is key that we actually make time for ourselves in our schedules, as well as set those healthy boundaries for our time and sanity.

  11. I love the ”have regular dates with yourself” because this is my biggest self-care thing. I LOVE having dates with myself, from buying takeaway sushi and eating it all by myself to even going to the cinema alone (when cinemas were open). Such a great post. And i really like the content of your blog!!
    Sending you love!
